Can I Post Sale Of Equipment In A State Where I Don't Live?

I live in San Diego County. I posted in San Diego, LA and Orange counties but cannot post in cities in Texas. Why?

The reason is that Craigslist views itself as a local service and prohibits postings in more than one local area.

You may be able to solve the issue with the use of a Web proxy, as offered free at http://www.zend2.com/. Fellow Help Owl volunteer smcclurken has additional suggestions here.
