Scams On Craigslist

I have a question about scams on your Craigslist. I know of three (3) postings that must be scams. At least one was proven to be a scam, because there was NO ONE at this Air Force Base in Nebraska and with each one of these listings the people will put this on e bay if I give them my name, address and phone number. How does this happen as you guy's have all of the postings out there. What are your rules for posting scams? We are talking about Class B & C Motorhomes. Can anyone just post without you checking?

1. We're an independent help site not connected with Craigslist.

2. "Can anyone just post without you checking?" Unfortunately, the answer for the most part is Yes, although Craigslist may occasionally catch a blatant violation of its rules upon submission. (More often, the rules violation is caught down the road.)

3. Craigslist takes no responsibility for scams on its site, although it does make an effort to warn users against them, at http://www.craigslist.org/about/scams.
