Craftsman Riding Mower 247.290001 Will Not Start

Worked fine. Pushed in the shed, pulled out of the shed a week later. Added fuel. Engine turns over but will not start. Seems as if there is no spark. Checked shoot switch, Moved in and out of Park, engaged and disengaged blade lever. Jiggled seat switch. Tried moving the tranny shift from N to R to N to F and back to N too. It is getting fuel because it started to smell flooded. Only used 5 times on 5k sqft yard.
