Updating The Bios Of Compaq Nc6230

i have downloaded the update and i am using SSM to carry out the update but it's not going. so please i dont know what to do, please help me

Compaq/HP have specific procedures for ROM upgrades. I have included a link to your device.

If you download the Maintenance and service guide from the website and read section 3 regarding 'Upgrading...' there are details of how to upgrade the Rompaq.
