To Order A Real-time-clock Battery Or Cmos - Where Do I Locate The Hp Spares #?

The HP spares part website doesn't list a CMOS battery spares number for s/n: MXL9101318

You shouldn't need a HP spare number. Follow the attached link to HP for information and support for your PC. The likely battery you need is a Lithium cell 2032 which is common to a large amount of PC's.

If you remove the side panel and look at the motherboard you will see a circular silver cell in a holder probably near the bottom end of the motherboard. Carefully remove the battery and replace with the same type. That's it job done. Battery should cost no more than a couple of pounds for a reasonable quality probably less.If it is a soldered in battery then you will need a person skilled with a soldering iron.
