Why Does It Give 30 Mins Backup?

even when my battery is fully chraged it just gives me 30 mins of backup

Most electronic devices use Lithium Ion batteries, whose capacity to hold degrades over time. So, it could be just your device is a few years old, but there is one step you can try, sometimes internal circuitry in the battery gets misaligned and can report wrong information to the operating system, you can try recalibrating your battery by following the steps indicated in this article:
