I WAS CHARGED FOR A GOLD MEMBER RENEWAL FROM MY BANK ACCOUNT .. I DID NOT ARTHURIZE THIS .. I WANT A REFUND TO MY ACCOUNT IMMEDIATLEY !!!

I'm not sure if you can get a refund at this point, but it's worth calling them or chatting with them live. However, to avoid future automatic billing from classmates, follow the instructions below:

To cancel your member ship, talk to live chat support here: http://www.classmates.com/cmo/help/contact.jsp?contactType=chat&keywords=phone&page=1

OR you can call 206-301-5700 to speak to a person to cancel.

If you are being bill automatically and want to stop it:

What you have to do is go into your account - click on 'membership information' & change it to 'manual' instead of 'automatic'

This is what they told me:
By changing your renewal option to manual, your account will not be charged again. You'll continue to receive full Gold membership benefits until the end of the current term. At that time, your Gold membership will simply expire and revert to free status (unless you choose to manually renew). As a free member, you'll still be listed on the Classmates website and receive email notifications about your account activity.
