Map Disc Read Error

The navigation on my 2010 Chevy Traverse is displaying a "Map Disc ReadError" and is unresponsive to any buttons pressed. I purchased the vehicle brand new from the dealership and the navigation was the main reason why I bought this vehicle. Please advise how to fix this issue.
