Transmission Hot Idle Engine - Message On Instrument Panel.
Referring to the above subjet, I had this supposedly repaired In August at a dealer in Akron Ohio while on road trip. The TRANS HOT IDLE ENGINE message came on. We went to deealer to get looked at they said was a temp sensor? and plug inside the trans. Now it is November and it started doing this same thing again Wednesday before Thanksgiving. Any thoughts or insight into this? The trans does not seem to be slipping, and the dipstick does not seem to be hot when it comes on.
