1989 Chevy Celebrity Cl Problems
I have a 89 Chevy celebrity but it won't stay running. I think it's the starter and the carb, and fuel filter but idk wat to do. Can any1 help plz??

If teh car is running until it gets warm then dies that indicates either the fuel filter needs replacing or another likely suspect on those cars is the ignition coil. When the coils gets worn out it acts like a fuel problem only its not its the spark thats missing. If the motor restarts easily enough then its probably fuel filter. If its a cross your fingers and hope it will eventually restart kind of deal then i'd have to say the coil because that will just get worse and worse until you are finally just stranded.
The fuel filter is an inline filter resembling a soup can that can be found on the fuel line attatched to the rear cross member. You will need a couple of 16 mm wrenches or crecent wrenchs work just fine. The fuel lines just unbolt from either end of the filter.
The coil is located under the distributer cap and really should be done by a mechanic unless you are familiar with setting the timing and the plug wire sequence and such.
