When Sending A Fax Should The Document Be Face Up Or Face Down?

That depends upon the model but there is an icon printed into the plastic tray on most machines.  If you see the 'paper' icon that has a bunch of lines showing, then the paper needs to be loaded face up (where the writing or images are facing up).  If the 'paper' icon looks like a blank piece of paper but there appears to be lines on the curled corner of the paper - that is indicating that the documents need to be loaded 'face down' - or with the images facing towards the fax/printer.
