Can I Use Pg40 Black In My Pixma Instead Of 240

You can use any ink you choose but that doesn't mean it will work properly or at all. If it's still in warranty it wouldn't be wise to use any sustitute! These are the compatible OEM cartridges for your printer: CL-241XL Ink Cartridge - Canon Genuine OEM (Color) & PG-240XL Ink Cartridge - Canon Genuine OEM (Black)
