Oxygen Sensor, Computer Code Issue.

After replacing the sensor, upon vehicle emissions check, the old service code is still in the vehicle computer's memory. I cleared it , but it keep returning after cycling. Help!

Hello, many vehicles have two oxygen sensors: an upstream oxygen sensor and a downstream oxygen sensor. Make sure you replaced the correct sensor. If so, then you may have a deeper problem causing the issue, possibly the catalytic converter. If you post the code(s) you are getting here, we may be able to help you troubleshoot.
