Escalade 2000 Won't Start Up Dies

My escalade 2000 keeps dying on me when I drive it, sometime when it dies I let it cool down hour or two then it starts up again. But for a week now it getting worst, I can't even drive it if I let it cool down for a bit anymore. Pls help
