How Can I Replace My Spool Pin?

My spool pin broke off near the beginning and I can't put a spool of thread on it. Can I purchace a replacement part and fix it myself?

I broke mine off too! You can purchase the part - online, and I assume in store - reasonably cheaply. You can then go onto one of several sites on youtube, which will walk you through it step by step.
