Loud Screeching Noise Coming From Right Side Of Brother Se400.

My Brother se400 was working perfectly fine until I had to change the bobbin.  After changing the bobbin it started making a horrible screeching noise coming from the right side of the machine.  I have thoroughly cleaning the bobbin case and every thing I can get to around and inside of it and the noise will not go away.  I tried to wind a new bobbin to see if the noise continued and it was much worse than just regulary sewing.  What is causing this and can I fix it myself?
