Your Brother MFC-J430w takes too long to print your document because the print quality settings may be set to Best Quality. You have to set it to Normal or Fast Draft quality to speed up the printing speed. You should follow the instructions below to set.

1. Open your Microsoft Office file to be printed

2. Press Ctrl + P to start printing

3. Click Properties button

4. Under the Media dropdown box, select the Normal or Fast Draft

5. Confirm and start printing
