Reset Toner Message

Just replaced toner cartridge. Printer did not reset still saying toner low. How do I reset message?

This just happened to us. First, you should take the toner cartridge you just installed back out and gently rock it from side to side, then reinstall and see if the message goes away. If the message doesn't go away then open the cover and hit the #1. Select the one you are trying to reset from the menu shown, you can use the up and down arrows on the right side if need by, select Yes to reset and then re-close the cover. Toner cartridge reset

Open front cover
“Cover is open! Close front cover” is displayed
1. If the machine is stuck on leading you through a cartridge replacement then turn off power and unplug machine, wait 10 seconds, plug in, turn on, open cover before cartridge replacement help screen is displayed.
Press [1] key
Toner cartridge reset menu is displayed, select the correct toner colour (C - blue, M - red, Y - yellow, K - black) and capacity (STD - standard, HC high capacity, S.HC – super high capacity) and “Reset Accepted” will be displayed.
Close cover. Machine will reset. Warning message will be gone.
This procedure can also be used to get rid of the annoying “low toner, prepare new cartridge” message and enable you to run your cartridges to fully empty before replacing them.
