What To Do When 'not Connected To Computer' Pops Up And Won't Let Me Scan?

My computer is obviously connected the printer because I checked all of the cords and found the one that goes between both and it is indeed plugged in. But whenever I try to scan the same message pops up and says that it can't because it isn't connected. It worked fine before so how do I reconnect it?

Check if any update is available for your drivers or try re-installing the appropriate driver and then restart the scanner. Try reconnecting the cord...sometimes there may be loose connections.

Most likely it should get connected now. Did you update your Win?...In that case you will need to install new driver for your new Win OS.

If it doesn't connect still then call the customer support center.
