Mfc-6490 Cw

After replacing new black cartidge LCD message reads replace bl cartridge,I have cleanes out the cartridge section and I have disconnected machine to no avail.

I believe that your Brother MFC 6490CW is displaying a replace cartridge error because the installed cartridge may not be properlly installed or not the original/compatible cartridge. The compatible ink cartridge for this device can be purchased here:

Please consider buying the original and compatible ink cartridge for this device to preven future problems. You can read the user's manual for more information on how to install the cartridge.
