When you fill the toner cartridge, you have to reset the white reset gear on the left side of the cart. With the handle toward you and the rollers away from you, the gears are on the left. There are two retaining screws that hold a black cover. There is one white gear toward the handle side of the cart that needs to be rotated 180-degrees. Rover the cover, slide that gear up, rotate it 180 degrees and slide it back down into place. Replace the black cover, the 2 white tabs on the gear will slide through notches in the cover, then put the 2 screws back in. Replace cart in the drum and put it back in the printer. Close front door and it should take. I had to do it twice forthe printer to accept it - first time it re-tripped that white gear
