Bose Wave Radio Awr1-2w

Radio works fine but when unplugged from mains current it won't retain the memory settings. The 9v backup battery is OK (9.5v) and I have fitted a new battery battery connector cable assembly. as the original was slightly corroded. Memory still not functioning.

1.Try resetting the radio, 2. Before unplugging the system, be sure it has been plugged in for at least 18 minutes.

The system has a capacitor that holds a charge for 48 hours after being unplugged. To fully charge this capacitor, the system must be plugged in for 18 minutes. To ensure settings are stored, turn the radio off using its power button after they have been set. Avoid turning off power to the system via a switched outlet or switched power strip

if the above does not work, then Your product may need service
