How Do I Remove A Broken Blade From A Model 1581 Vs Top Handle Jig Saw?

You will need a long skinny flathead screwdriver. There is a small hole at the top front of the handle. Insert the screwdriver all the way until you feel it catch the set screw that locks the blade in place, unscrew it a few turns until the blade lock loosens and then twist and remove the old blade. Reverse the process to install a new blade.
