There are no instructions specific to your Sanyo Incognito phone and Boost Mobile is reluctant to perform this function for you. Solutions vary depending upon what your really want to do to block a particular phone number.

Blocking a restricted phone not in your phone book is problematic. You can try calling Boost Mobile 1-888-266-7848 or 866-402-7366 to explain the problem (let's assume it is harrassment) and they will be able to tell you whether they can block a specific number for you depending upon the type of device you have.

Boost Mobile can actually block a specific caller but they will not reverse this if you change your mind. So better not to answer a call if you're just having a fight with someone; you can always listen to the voice mail or delete it unheard.

If you are trying to block text messages from a particular sender, you will follow the following steps from your phone:

Open Send Text - which is what you will be doing
Type 9999 in the text header (it may appear as 999-9 but don't worry)
Go to the text body and type BLOCKxxxxxxxxxx (the full number you wish blocked) It will appear as BLOCK1231231234 for example.
Hit SEND and the text will be sent to Boost Mobile.
You should receive a confirmation text from Boost Mobile shortly afterwards
Remember that you while you will no longer receive texts from the blocked phone numbers, you will not be able to text them either.

Do know that with this type of blocking, you may still have a massage in your voice mail from the blocked caller but the call will not ring through.

Also be aware that when you call Boost Mobile they may try to get you to change your phone number. This rarely helps and your unwanted caller will continue to find you but it is a possibility.
