No One Can Hear Me Talk When I Make Call Out Or Coming In.

I have just purchased a new Samsung Seek. Have had it less than 30 days and cant call customer service because no one can hear me or vice versa. What is causing this problem? it is a new phone, no damage, no water, etc... Cant be w/o communication, I have a son with medical problems. help please? I have made sure it is not on mute etc...
