Refund/credit.
How can get my refund put back on my credit card.I mistakely made two reservations on my new phone on 5/13/16 at Super8 hotel oceanfront Virginia Beach. VA.So I tried to call booking. com several times but no customer service rep answered. So I drove to the hotel to try to cancel the reservation. The lady at the front desk said I had to call booking. com to cancel. But I told her I tried she didn't believe me.So I told her I wanted to cancel the reservation. So I finally got a rep today 5/15/16@ 530pm to try to cancel the reservation which Super8 charged on my card 171.00 then 139.00 then again 20.00.Can someone please refund my money on my card because I didn't stay at this hotel Super8 this week end. Thank you.Willie Roundtree.

Booking.com wants you to use the form at http://bit.ly/1Wzj0F6, and you might give that try. As the charges came from the hotel (not Booking.com), your best complaint route is with Super8. Don't deal with a lady at the front desk unless she's the hotel manager. Since Super8 headquarters are in Mississippi, you can if necessary complain to that state's Consumer Protection Division, at 228-386-4400. You can also complain to Booking.com: go to http://www.corporateofficeowl.com/booking.com/Corporate%20Office. You can if necessary complain about Booking.com to Connecticut's dept. of Consumer protection, at 860-713-6300.
My advice is to make your firm detailed request for a full refund in writing (certified mail) to the hotel, and keep a copy for your bank, with which you should dispute the charge. Good luck!
