My Phone Just Died,wen You Switch It On,a Red Light Reflect

black berry 8500.i did charge my phone the prevoius night.the next morning it was very hot,like it wanted to explode.i took the battery of let it cooled of.the put it on it was working for a day.after thaT ITS DEAD.WHEN YOU PUT IT ON,A RED LIGHT REFLECTS FOR A FEW SECOUNDS THEN GOES OF.then nothing happens justr dead.pls advise me
