Vaccine Makes Loud Noise

The vacuum is making a VERY loud noise And smells like burnt rubber. I have replaced the belt. Is it the roller or any other ideas?

It sounds like the brush may not be turning properly. With the brush removed, turn the vacuum on to see if the noise disappears. If the noise is gone, the brush will need replacing.
