The BERNINA deco 330 or bernette deco 340 require NO additional software or utilities to work with a PC. Neither machine directly connects to a PC.

They DO however rely on Personal Design Cards (Deco 330 or 340) or USB Personal Design Sticks (Deco 340 only) to transfer your designs between your PC and the machine. When you attach the USB Stick for the first time, you may be a notice about "New Hardware Found". Wait a few moments for the drivers to install and finish their installation and for Vista to assign the USB Stick a drive letter (example F:\). When complete, test your BERNINA software and write a design to your USB Stick to confirm.

I hope this is helpful to you!
