350 Pe Makes A Lot Of Noise When Switched On,Brand New Out Of The Box

is this nomal, diddnt expect a loud humming?

Mine did that too.  All the means is that the bobbin winder lever was pushed in to wind the bobbin (even if there's no bobbin on there).  Pull it away from the rod that the bobbin goes on - i.e. pull that switch to the right, away from the rod, and the noise will go away.
