Android Or Apple Tablet For Xr18 Air?

From your experience what is the best devise for running a Behringer XR18 Air?I will be using an external router.Any help appreciated. Have had two failures at gigs with the built in router on the XR18 Air.ThanksBob KnyszRight now XR18 Air is sitting lonely in its original packackging.
