Help I Have An Asus Ux21e I Have A Boot Problem

1. originally it was a win 7 machine when win 10 came out i upgraded ok for a few months then the next win update killed it many problems with flashing on and off as it booted up etc... i tried msoft help many times and even a fresh install no real joy.2. I have installed ubuntu linux on it fantastic! it's like a new machine i used 19.04 with it working well i tried upgrading to 20.04 LTS and it crashed (it's not a pc problem it was a faulty download.BUTI lost the BIOS settings for the american mega trends usb boot option and i can no longer boot from a usb i need the correct syntax PLEASE...

If you want to go back to Windows 10 I would suggest when re-installing, before you use the machine go into MS and run a system update. It may take some time. I have solved various booting issues by updating at the start rather than installing apps and then running Windows update. You can also turn off the update facility and do that when it suits you, and creating a restore point prior to updating so you can return to before, if it does not work.
