Answer incorrectly 5 times and then click on forgot password. You can then reset it using your gmail account.
You can also use hard reset on your phone.
HOLD the power button and shut down the phone.
Hold HOME and RED POWER down until you see a triangle with an exclamation mark.
Keep holding it down until the G1 logo shows up and use: Alt+L – Toggles between the exclamation and menu options Alt+S – apply sdcard:update.zip Alt+W – Wipe data/factory reset.
