I Used My Last Name On My Daughter's Boyfriend's Ticket. How Do I Change That?

It's difficult to make changes or corrections to names on tickets. Normally airline tickets are nontransferable, meaning the ticket can not be used for someone else. If the ticket is refundable, then you have the option of cancelling the reservation and requesting a refund of the ticket. However if the ticket is nonrefundable, then you will need to plead your case to American Airlines.

I recommend you contact American Airlines 1-800-433-7300 and explain the situation.
