I Keep Ticket Conformation I Haven't Ordered

I keep getting emails claiming to be ticket conformation but I haven't ordered any tickets are these emails just mistakes or is some one sending out fraudulent emails ?

You are probably the victim of phishing and the sender is trying to get you to click on links in the email or to open an attachment. DON'T.

If information is provided in the body of the email, make sure you check immediately with your credit card company.

You can also call American Airlines customer service to inquire: 1-800-433-7300

But first check this security page at American Airlines. You will have to scroll down the page to see examples of phishing emails where you can see the way you can be tricked into spoofed sites to enter personal data.
