Can One Person On A 2 Person Reservation Change Their Mind And Come Back Earlier

My husband and I flew down together to DFW from MCI. He wants to fly back earlier than expected and I want to return as scheduled. We are on the same reservation. Is it possible for him to make changes without me?

call the airline, as the reservation can be divided, to accomodate different schedules. there will probably be fees for the changes to the ticket.
