Baggage fees are per direction. So one way = one charge. Round trip = two charges. If your flight has a connection, either with the same airline or a different airline, baggage will transfer from flight to flight and no additional fees will apply, assuming all tickets are plated on the same airline. Otherwise, if you purchase flights point to point (not recommended), you will incur multiple fees based on the number of tickets you buy.
