Amazon Prime Membership

Can you please check my account as i have noticed that on the 26/06/2014 the sum of 99 USD was taken from my credit card for Amazon Prime Membership for which i never signed up for. I had a free trial membership but never gave confirmation that i wanted the Prime package as i dont shop on Amazon that often. I think there was some sort of misunderstanding I would like my account credited with the full amount, is this possible?

Yes, there was a misunderstanding but it's not clear that you can get the credit. Note that we're an independent help site *not* connected with Amazon.

Prime membership is set up to continue past the trial, indefinitely, on an "opt-out" basis. Amazon will automatically charge you at the end of your trial and will continue to do so until you resign.

Amazon states:

If you didn't intend to convert your membership to a full 12-month membership, you can cancel your Amazon Prime membership on the Manage Prime Membership page. If you haven't placed an Amazon Prime-eligible order, you are eligible for a full refund.

To get a refund, phone Amazon at 866 216 1072.
