Prime Membership Refund

I cancelled my prime membership which I must have ordered by mistake as I live in Argentina. I know it has been cancelled and my question now is when can I expect a refund? thank you. cristina kundegraber

Amazon states:

You may cancel your Prime membership any time by visiting Your Account and adjusting your membership settings. If you cancel within 3 business days of signing up for or converting from a free trial to a paid membership, we will refund your full membership fee. We may charge you (or withhold from your refund) our regular prices for Prime benefits used by you and your invitees (see Invitees section below) during this 3-business day period. If you cancel at any other time, we will refund your full membership fee only if you and your invitees have not made any eligible purchases or taken advantage of Prime benefits.

Amazon is pretty fair when it comes to refunds, which generally takes Amazon 2-3 days to process this refund. However, it is not uncommon for a bank to take another week after this before the credit shows up in your account.
