Cd Ejection Problem.
I recently had a battery replacment, and afterwards, cannot eject my cd. it gives an error message "this operation is prohibited. please change settings and execute once again" have reset the unit...and looked for settings that may help me but to no avail.

Did you ever get the answer to this? I ran into the same problem and called Alpine customer service. Try the following sequence with the unit on:
Turn to FM
Turn to Band 2 (FM 2)
Press Preset 5 (doesn't matter what station)
Turn volume down 2 numbers
Turn volume up 2 numbers
That did it for me. Something popped up letting me know the CD eject lock function had been disabled and it worked fine.
