My Cda-9886 Keeps Cuting Off

my cda-9886 keeps cuting off when turn to any volume level. it cuts off when i turn my head lights on. and it's not reading any cd's i put in the unit. i've only had the player for 11 months. i have it in my 94 mitsubishi mighty max. what could be the fix for me?
