Trying To Turn Wifi On

Navigate to your wireless network card properties and make sure it is enabled; start > control panel > network and Internet (or network and sharing) > network options > manage network connections then select your wireless NIC and right click on it, then make sure it is enabled.
Make sure that your wireless NIC switch did not get turned off also.
