My 2012 Model Dell's Speaker Isn't Working.

The speaker isn't working.It only works with either speakers or headphones.

I Know the Answer!

Fix 2: Set speakers as your default device

Right-click on the sound icon on the lower-right of your computer screen, then click Sounds. ... Restart your computer and check if the Dell speakers not working problem has been fixed.
