Lamp Powers Off After 30 Seconds

lamp switches off and device powers down in normal way after 30 second s - thuoght it must be the lamp so replaced - still behaves the same

The symptoms sound exactly like a failing lamp. 30 seconds is not long enough for a temperature-related shutdown, as it takes closer to 5 minutes for the unit to get hot enough to trip the temp sensor to shut it down. You don't normally get a blinking lamp indicator for a temp failure either- so all signs point to a failing lamp.

This is caused by failed temperature sensor.
