How To Adjust The Volume While In Hdmi Mode?
Whenever I which from pc mode to "hdmi-in" mode I was unable to adjust the volume from the keyboard or the touchscreen, anyone have any advice for me?

I had the same problem. Did a lot of digging becasue I am disabled and have the time to do it. The answer is a bit sad.
Despite the hype about this computer having HDMI-in capability - that is all it has. Under HDMI-in what you have is a relatively small but heavy TV screen with a bunch of computer stuff tacked on the back that cannot be used while it is in TV mode. If you have decent speakers hooked up to the computer, they will work after a fashion but the voume is controlled by your PVR remote. Forget about using software to tweak the sound or using your keyboard and mouse like you would on a smart TV. Won't happen.
If you have even a basic home theater system, you can get more or less the volume control you want through the separate amp/mixer/speakers associated with that system. Not quite as convenient, but if you have the time, space and additional equipment you can kludge a solution that fits your room.
When I think back to what one expected of a computer in the 90s, this HDMI-in is still pretty slick. I think we crossed over into a new century at some point a while ago though. . .
