Acer E571 Locks Up At Acer Splash Screen?
When i turn on my machine it beeps once and displays the " ACER" splash screen where you can hit Del key or F12 for boot options; but keyboard does not respond to commands? I have set system to minimal configuration; no help. I tried known good "like" memory; no change. I tried another CPU but then system does nothing. Not compatable I guess. Not sure where to go from here; Motherbd or CPU?

Based on your description, you have not yet tried reinstalling your Operating System. Since your computer proceeds to the Acer Splash Screen, this means that its hardware parts are all working. However, the computer cannot really proceed to the Operating System window if corrupted. You can purchase a Windows Operating SyStem online at Amazon.com. Here's the link:
