How To Turn Off Laptop Screen While Using External Monitor

Dear, How do I turn off my laptop's screen while I keep working via an external monitor? The laptop screen is flickering badly. I would like to turn it off so it no longer affects my eyes, while using an external monitor. Thank you kindly for your help :)

Use Windows key + p.

This works for me.

You can also use fn + f3

If this does not work, try other F1....F12 keys with Fn button.

It is used to transfer the display to external monitor only.

Right now I think you are in duplicate/mirror/clone mode
