Acer Aspire Model 5335-2238 Which Board Senses The Battery ? Alan
the computer does not sense the battery but battery is good which board senses the battery in this model!thanks

If your Travelmate 5335 notebook is giving you a "battery not detected" message and you have the icon with a red X through the battery, we recommend that you update your BIOS to the latest version.
To update your BIOS, please follow the steps below.
- In your Internet browser of choice, navigate to our Acer Product Support page.
- In the Select Your Product section, click the icon that represents your product.
- After you have selected the Icon that represents your product, click on Select Your Product By Model.
- A new window will pop-up. In the Select Line section, choose the line that represents your product link.
- In the Select Model section, choose the model that represents your product.
- Click the Confirm button to verify the correct model choice.
- On the next page, click on the BIOS tab.
- Locate and download the latest BIOS version.
- Extract the files to the location of your choice and view the readme.txt file for instructions how to flash your BIOS
