Function F3 No Longer Turns On The Wireless On My Acer Aspire 4739z Laptop. S
Function F3 No Longer Turns On The Wireless On My Acer Aspire 4739z Laptop. Hi. I have an Acer Aspire 4739z laptop.I went to turn on wifi and FN+F3 won't turn my wifi on. If both the keys are pressed, there is no changes (or) process done. I cant figure out anyother way to turn my wifi on. I have all the latest drivers and updates. Please help!!!! original title: WIFI WONT WORK!!!!! I'm very disappointed about acer. Pls help anyone to solve the above problem.

If your laptop has a function lock key (often labeled Fn Lock) make sure it didn't get pressed by accident... that could cause the F3 key to function differently.
Check in the Device Manager to see the status of your wireless adapter. At the run bar in the start menu, type "devmgmt.msc" and press <ENTER>. Locate your wireless adapter (probably under the "Network Adapters" section) and see if there is a red X or a yellow triangle on the icon. If so, right click on the icon to see the status.
If you still can't get the wireless to work, right click on the adapter in the Device Manager and try to update the driver, then reboot the computer.
