Greetings - The thing is that overheating is not the only cause of unexplained shut down. The Ram could be to blaime. Bios may need to be updated. And most of all, any other hardware failure could be behind the sad behavior. It is much easy for repair shops who have spare compatible hardwares and testers for problems which needs troubleshooting like this one. You may have to consider them as a final resort. Hope this helps.
